Gen Con 2023 Events
Board Game Candy Shop (August 3-6)
We are running our Board Game Candy Shop again at Gen Con! This year the booth number is 2555. We'll have 300 different board game pieces and parts to buy. We sell them by weight at $.25/gram. Fill up an entire bag and get 50% off your order. We'll be keeping track of the 3 largest orders and they will earn TGC shop credit at the end of the show! See our booth location on the map below.
First Exposure Playtest Hall (August 3-6)
Tavis will be in the First Exposure Playtest Hall (FEPH) hosting The Game Crafter's manufacturer table. There will be lots of products on display and he'll be happy to answer any questions you have.
We will also have a TGC Designer's Table in the FEPH that will have a bunch of free game pieces, blank components, TGC follies, and promo cards for game designers. We are proud to support indie game designers and the FEPH.
TGC Community Game Night (Friday, August 4th)
This will be our 9th Annual TGC Community Game Night! The event runs from 8pm-midnight on Friday, August 4th and will be held at the Lucas Oil Football Stadium.
This is an official Gen Con event and so you'll need tickets to participate. We prefer you purchase event tickets because when we sell out it justifies the premium space we get allocated each year. However, you are welcome to stop by with generic tickets and you can join us as long as we have open seats.
Bring your prototypes to play with others and be willing to playtest the games of other designers too. It's basically like a mini protospiel, so feel free to setup your game or sit down with other people and start playing. It's open format and there are no reserved tables or spaces.
TGC Community Social (Saturday, August 5th)
We are hosting our 10th Annual TGC Community Social event at Gen Con on Saturday, Aug 5th at 7pm. This is a great opportunity to meet other people from The Game Crafter community and enjoy some tasty food and beverages. This is not an official Gen Con event and does not require a ticket. We just ask that you RSVP to our facebook event or email us if you plan to attend. (This way the venue knows how many people to expect and how much space to reserve.) We hope to see you there!
